Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you order from this website. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them together with our refund and return policy and our privacy policy.

Who we are

This website is run by the bakery named in the footer and on the contact page ("we", "us"). You can reach us using the details on the contact page.

Ordering

• You must give correct contact and delivery details. We are not responsible for failed delivery caused by wrong details.
• An order is accepted when we confirm it by email or text message. We may decline an order, for example if we cannot meet the date, and will tell you promptly and refund any payment.
• Cakes are made to order. Minimum notice depends on the product and is shown at checkout.
• Product photos are for illustration. Handmade items can differ slightly from the picture.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in Ghana cedis (GHS). We are not registered for VAT, so the price you see is the price you pay, plus any delivery fee shown at checkout.
• Online payments are processed by Paystack. We do not see or store your card or mobile money details.
• Where we allow it, you may pay us directly or on delivery. We may require payment in advance for first orders, large orders or custom cakes.

Delivery and pickup

You choose delivery or pickup and a time window at checkout. We will try to meet it, but traffic and weather can cause delays. Someone must be available to receive the order. If nobody is available and we cannot reach you, we may not be able to refund the order.

Cancellations and refunds

These are set out in our refund and return policy, which forms part of these terms.

Allergens

Our kitchen handles common allergens including flour, eggs, milk, nuts and soya. We cannot guarantee that any product is free of them. Tell us about allergies before you order. You are responsible for deciding whether a product is safe for you and your guests.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details and any one-time codes private. Tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

Our responsibility

We take care to make good products and provide a reliable service. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Ghanaian law that cannot be limited. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. If we cannot settle a dispute together, the courts of Ghana can decide it.
